Earth Week 2026: April 20-April 24

Join us in Earth Week 2026, April 20-24th!

Join the Berkeley community in celebrating Earth Week! Hosted each spring by the Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC) in partnership with campus departments, student groups, and local organizations, Earth Week is packed with exciting events that dive into everything from sustainability to environmental justice, all while celebrating our beautiful planet and its people. These events are an opportunity for all undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty at UC Berkeley, regardless of level of experience with the environmental movement, to learn more about climate change, environmental justice, and more. These on-campus and online events can introduce you to amazing opportunities and new spaces both on and off campus. We hope the events are inspiring and joyful, and that they leave you energized and ready to make a difference!

This year's theme is "Nurturing Rays of Hope: Finding Joy in Community & Collective Liberation," highlighting the importance of mutual aid, remaining hopeful in the hands of community, and celebrating both our shared and diverse lived experiences.

If you are planning to host an Earth Week event, please fill out the event submission form by March 13th, 5pm to ensure your event gets listed on our calendar. Check out last year's Earth Week Calendar here!

If you have any questions or would like to add an event to our calendar, email us at SERC@berkeley.edu
