SERC & TGIF Eco Fund

Apply to SERC and TGIF's Eco Fund! 

The Eco Fund awards funds to student RSO leaders, individual students, and DeCal leaders working on projects related to environmental justice and environmentalism. This Fall we will be accepting requests from September 13- November 13 2026.  Funds will be provided as reimbursements for purchases already made. Awarded funds must be spent during the same semester in which the application is submitted and cannot be carried over to a future semester.

Starting September 13, 2026 fill out our google form. All instructions and details are listed on the form. (Due to institutional delays, funding will take around 4-6 weeks to reach you after your application is submitted.)

Since 2021, the Eco Fund has dispersed $40,998 to 175 students and student organizations for requests covering costs ranging from a bag of soil, music fundraising festivals, binoculars, to textbooks. 

Please note, we have a hard cap of $400 for group requests and $200 for individual requests. Applications will be reviewed biweekly starting September. We aim to notify applicants of their application status within 2 weeks of submission.
