Who We Are
Mobilize Berkeley was formed in 2019 by various people and organizations: former councilmember Cheryl Davila, The NorCal Resilience Network, Transition Berkeley, Green the Church, and UC Berkeley’s Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC). They were brought together by the UC Berkeley Chancellor's Community Partnership Fund Grant. Currently made up of UC Berkeley’s SERC and the Climate Emergency Mobilization Task Force (CEMTF), Mobilize Berkeley organizes events catering to community members' need to come together and address environmental justice issues.
Mobilize Berkeley Team
Our Vision
A citywide sustained mobilization towards stopping climate destruction and participating in a just transition toward sustainable, more equitable and healthier ways of living and working.
Our Events
What is a Healing Event?
A Healing Event is where community members can hold space for others, cultivate resilience and empathy, and talk about climate grief and solutions. A Healing Event can consist of small group discussions, keynote presentations, songs, healing words of wisdom, and so much more!
