Sophie is a third year majoring in Conservation and Resource Studies and minoring in Forestry and Management. She is passionate about studying the intersections between marine and terrestrial ecology, and how these ecosystems affect each other. Through her involvement in SERC, she is motivated to make CAL a zero waste campus and educate the community in what it means to be zero waste. In her free time, Sophie loves to go camping, dance, and explore new environments.
Lois (she/her), born and raised in the Philippines, is a junior studying Environmental Economics and Policy and Data Science at UC Berkeley. She is interested in pursuing research on climate adaptation and food security in developing countries and plans to pursue a career in environmental consulting or policy. In her free time, she loves creating recipes, singing, and going on spontaneous bike/train rides.
Isa Vivona is a second-year double majoring in MCB and Public Health. She is passionate about environmental health, specifically how climate change impacts human health. Through her involvement in SERC, she strives to support students in engaging in more zero-waste practices and improve Cal’s sustainability efforts. In her free time, Isa loves hiking, taking trips with friends, and spending time with her dog!
