Kimiya Attar is a sophomore double majoring in Environmental Economics and Policy along with Conservation and Resource Studies. Within her Conservation and Resource Studies, she is focusing on environmental policy in three realms: renewable energy, agriculture, and sustainable urban design. Through her involvement with SERC, she is committed to e-waste recycling and reusable education through the Waste Diversion Team. Outside of SERC, Kimiya loves to work on projects in the ASUC Eco Office and go on a hike with CHAOS.
Alexander Domako is a second-year majoring in Integrative Biology. He is passionate about the diverse anthropogenic impacts on the environment, from local habitats to global climate change. Through his involvement with SERC, Alexander aspires to encourage sustainability within the student body and supporting UC Berkeley’s environmental commitments. Beyond SERC, he enjoys camping under redwoods, reading with brewed tea, and binding Netflix documentaries.
Vivian is a second-year undergraduate studying Molecular and Cell Biology and Business Administration. She is passionate about the development of better healthcare treatments that are also healthy for the planet. Through her involvement in SERC, she is interested in improving lab sustainability on campus. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking, working out, and spending time with friends.
Anjika is a senior student studying Environmental Economics & Policy , and Data Science. She is passionate about holistic sustainable solutions that uplift communities and the environment. In her free time, Anjika loves exploring the outdoors, teaching yoga, cooking, and trying new things!!
Kat is a third-year majoring in Data Science with minors in GIST and Sustainable Design. She is passionate about researching nature-based climate solutions and exploring the intersections of sustainability and technology to discover innovative ways of advancing environmental conservation efforts. In her role at SERC, she strives to advance zero waste efforts at Cal by leading the campus’ Single Use Plastic Elimination by 2030 Policy. During her free time, she enjoys going on long hikes, picnics, and playing the ukulele!
