Bio/CV:
Maya (she/her) is a third-year majoring in Conservation and Resource Studies with a focus on Environmental Biology. She is interested in seeing how applied research and outreach can help create healthier ecosystems and communities, especially in terms of remediation, restoration, and environmental justice on global and local scales. In her free time, she loves to explore local parks, read, and try new recipes. Maya is excited to be a part of the SERC community, to grow her knowledge of environmentalism/sustainability, and share it with the campus community and beyond!
