Jacqueline is a Xicanx-Nicaraguan American dreamer, organizer, and creative from the San Joaquin Valley of California (Yokuts land). Their knowledge is shaped by an upbringing in the Central Valley and studies in Geography and Conservation & Resource Studies.
They are proud to have held a range of roles within Cal’s environmental community and are thrilled to combine their passions for environmental justice and art to help strengthen SERC’s art offerings and creative storytelling capacity. As an artist, their practice is diverse with experimentation in collage and zines and, more recently, documentary photography and film. For pleasure, Jacqueline reads often, skates, and, lately, savors the small joys of learning and trying new things.
