Environmental Justice (EJ) Trainings

About

Since Fall 2021, SERC and the ASUC Environmental Council Office have hosted Environmental Justice Trainings each semester, reaching hundreds of students in the UC Berkeley community. We are redefining what environmental education can look like by centering student voices, on-the-ground environmental justice struggles, and the essential frameworks of intersectionality, anti-capitalism, Indigenous sovereignty, and more. We seek to get students excited about leveraging their resources and becoming agents of change by emphasizing joy, optimism, and community.

Past EJ Trainings and Resources

We highly encourage student organizers and student organizations to re-use and review these resources with their respective communities. Here you will find our past presentations, guides, and case studies. Visit our official EJ Training Archiveto see the entire library!

You can also visit our Environmental Justice Toolkit for further resources.
