Kat is a sophomore majoring in Data Science with a minor in Geospatial Information Science & Technology. She is passionate about sustainability, zero waste, and environmental justice, and hopes to use data science to aid sustainable decision-making. During her first-year, she was a part of SERC’s Zero Waste Team and Carbon Crew, and she is delighted to be continuing her involvement with SERC as the Green Team Associate by leading the Single Use Plastic Elimination Policy Roadmap and striving to advance zero waste efforts at Cal. In her free time, she enjoys going on long hikes, picnics, and doodling in her bullet journal!
