You know that networking is important but you have no idea where to begin or what to say… This workshop will give you tips on how to get started. Alums and employers will also give their advice so that you can feel confident in reaching out and making connections. 

Career Series: Climate Justice Careers

During Climate Justice Week, we will be hosting a Career Series focusing careers working in climate justice.  Professionals from that work in climate justice will speak about their experience. There will be an emphasis on grassroots movements and social and environmental justice advocacy.  

Career Connections: Environment & Sustainability Networking Event

Career Connections is your opportunity to meet face-to-face with alumni and professionals representing a variety of roles within the environmental & sustainability field. The format connects you to individuals & opportunities in a low-stress, approachable environment. Following a brief kick-off and introductions, the session will consist of open networking with alumni, professionals, and peers who share your career interests. Gain insider knowledge about hiring practices and create meaningful connections that could lead to a future internship or job!

Career Series: Environmental Lawyers of Color

Multicultural Community Center, 220 Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union
 Join us in discussing the challenges and opportunities for people of color in enrolling and getting into Law school. Additionally, we will have a dialogue on the role lawyers have in supporting grassroots environmental justice movements.
